The LB-Series horizontal CNC lathe is our heavy-duty model of turning center. Equipped with a heavy-duty box ways construction and a highly rigid frame. The LB-Series comes standard with a servo turret, hydraulic tail stock and belt driven spindle. Common options for the LB-series include the addition of live tooling “LBM”, upgrading to a built-in electric spindle “LBQ”, and extending the Z stroke by 500 or 1,000mm “LBX & LBXL”.
The stepped tailstock structure (with steel inserts) allows for convenient and reliable adjustments. The tailstock movement is driven by the carriage, and the quill extension and retraction are hydraulically driven and programmatically controlled.
The 45° integrated slant bed design provides the lathe with high rigidity and high stability, and facilitates easy chip removal. The guideways are hardened and precision-ground, with wear-resistant soft strips applied to the sliding surfaces.
